The Circus !!

     Daddy surprised Ellie and got tickets to the circus  … I’m not sure she even knew what a circus was … But she loved it !

Ellie’s First Day Of Summer School ….

Ellie started her school this week (Mother’s Day Out) … We decided to start her in the summer school program … because we didn’t want to start school for the first time around baby sister’s due date … I wanted her to be adjusted before her sister’s arrival … Ellie did GREAT !  She had a wonderful day !  NO TEARS ! Not even Mommy :)  Can you believe it ?  I was SO proud of her !  We continue to pray that school will be a great experience for her !

Ellie’s First Trip To The Dentist

Ellie had her first trip to the dentist … luckily she didn’t experience her Mommy’s anxiety about the dentist … She did great !  Even thought it was fun …. I was worried about her because she had been complaining about her mouth hurting …. turns out she had bitten the side of her mouth and had a big ulcer/sore from it …. dentist said it looked like maybe she had even fallen and done it … poor baby … she is so tuff sometimes … if she fell, she didn’t tell Mommy about it …  

Baby Shower ~ Pool Party !

  My sweet friends and family gave Todd and I a diaper shower / pool party … They did a great job !  It was so fun !  And we are SO thankful for all those wonderful diapers !!!  I feel so blessed to have these wonderful girls in my life … thank you Sharyn, Brandy and Courtney !  Love you girls !! It looks like Honey was al little out numbered in the pool …. That is a handful !!  Wild Man ~ Tate ….

They had a little “pretend” show for this kids … Ellie had a blast participating in the sheep show !  Thank you Mattie for taking Ellie in with you !  They got to walk them around for the judges and at the end they received a blue ribbon and a dollar ! 

Here they are asking her name … of course she acted very shy and didn’t answer … but Mattie helped her out ….   

The kids always love the goats the best ….

This is Ellie and Cousin Tate at the parade  with Boots and Banty … let me just say … that was a LOT of candy for a short little parade … the kids loved it !  Thanks to all the nice people around us that shared bags with the kids !

In this picture they were trading candy … giving each other what they didn’t want themselves :)

Boots and Banty also treated the kids to the carnival and rodeo … Poor Boots … from what I hear … made 3 trips to ticket booth  :)  Mommy hung out with her dear friend Sharyn, so I didn’t get pictures of that … But I know the kids had a wonderful time … They came back exhausted …

Ellie Is Enjoying Her Tomatoes … But So Was Something Else ….

All of a sudden Ellie’s very healthy tomatoes plants were not looking so good …. then we found a couple of little friends on them …. But the plant is making a good recovery ….

Also … we don't grow a lot of plants … so these were the biggest caterpillars' I had ever seen … and didn't think they could harm us … but when Todd went to get them off, they were trying to stick him with a barb/stinger on their backside …  so to those who know more about these things … Can they sting ???

Todd’s Surprise Visitors !

It was SO fun surprising Todd !  Papa King, Nana Honey and Lucas all flew in from North Carolina the Friday before his graduation … he had NO idea !  It was wonderful having them here for a few days …. we are missing you guys already !

We spent one afternoon at the Riverwalk …

Ellie with her sweet Nana Honey … when they let for the airport to go back home it was early in the morning and Ellie was still asleep … when she got up she was looking for her Nana Honey … and I explained to her that they were on an air plane going back home and Ellie said “but I need her” … poor baby, she was so sad …. Hurry Back !

Not sure what to title these either … but they were my favorite .. we were laughing so hard … I think because it kind of  looked real :)
