Boots had a couple of the horses down at his studio ... using them as models for his big sculpture that he is working on ... Ellie and Mommy would walk down to the studio at least once a day (maybe more) ... and make sure Boots wasn't working to hard ...

That's right ! Ellie's Uncle Adam (aka Uncle Rooster) ... Won 1st place at the Hico Texas Steak Cook Off ... there were 82 teams that entered ... but Uncle Rooster's was the best !! We are so excited for him ... but knew he could do it all along ! The cook off was on the 16th ... as you can tell, I'm really behind on blogging ...
I love being this little girls Mommy ... and I am so grateful that I get to stay home with her ! It is truly on of life's greatest blessings !!
