A Day At The Zoo

 

We had a fun family day at the zoo …. The weather was great and the zoo was not crowded at all !  We had a great day !  Ellie liked the hippos so much we had to go see them twice ….

This was our first time to take Ellie in to feed the birds … she loved it !   I think it is one of our new family favorites :)   The birds really seemed to be drawn to Todd …. but just when I was thinking he was some kind of bird charmer ….  This happened :)  !!  LOL !  It was so funny !  As you can see, it BARELY missed him  :) After Ellie saw the panthers … she decided she wanted a “black baby kitty” ….

The closest I have ever been to a grizzly Bear …. or that I ever want to be …. he was kind of  looking at us like a snack …

These are from when she was watching the monkeys …. she was laughing so hard !  There were a couple of baby monkeys that were swinging up-side down on a rope and they were also jumping around in a barrel … she thought they were so funny ….

Our Little Precious Goddaughter … Natalie

Our deer, sweet friends, Jeff and Laura came to visit last weekend … we had a wonderful time catching up on everything and playing with each other girls :)  I didn’t take near enough pictures, but here are a few of there sweet daughter, and our Goddaughter, Natalie …  

Todd gave Natalie her very first taste of ice cream !  She loved it, she would grab the spoon from him :)  too cute …

Boots & Banty

Boots and Banty came to visit for Mommy’s birthday and also to help with Ellie while Mommy had a doctor’s appointment … They took her to her Gymnastics class and spent the afternoon having tea party’s …. 

Cheers ! 

They also took me out to eat at my favorite restaurant !  Mamacitas !

Ellie Has Something To Tell You

that’s right … we  are expecting another baby !  We are so excited about this newest  little blessing in our life !  I am 10 weeks and due in September …. we got to see and hear the little heartbeat today !   He or She was moving all around and kicking ….

Happy Valentines Day !

Ellie’s First Slumber Party

Ellie went to her first ever girly slumber party !  It was actually a mommy and daughter slumber party !  We had so much fun ! Here are the girls …. Sarah Kate, Naomi, Abby and Ellie ….  the mommy’s had to pose too :) … and of course its a little blurry because our photographer was a 4 year old :)  …. Naomi, Tanya, Rachel and myself….  These ladies are so special to me !  I have been blessed by their friendship and am so thankful for them !

Trip For Banty’s Birthday

Well … Tinkerbell finally had her baby calf …. and Ellie was so excited to see it … before we ever left she told me “him’s name poke a dot” …. problems is … its solid black   … and we’re not sure its a “him” …..   :)

She even got to touch it !  That is a real treat, because the Mommy’s are so protective …. but Tinkerbell was more interested in her food at the second :)

We went over to the Mitchells for a double birthday dinner ….  It was so funny getting to celebrate Mr John’s and Banty birthday together !  Thank you so much for having us !  And for those of you who don’t know …. Mrs Vickie is a REALLY good cook !
