Halloween Preview

I usually wait until Halloween to post her costume pictures … but the truth is … it took me so long to get her to put this puppy costume on … I’m not actually sure she is going to wear it for Halloween … When I ordered it … I was certain she would love it … after all, she loves to pretend to be a puppy …. but wearing the costume is another story ….  this is what she did when I asked her to wag her tail ….  : )  …. silly girl !

2nd Trip To The Hondo Pumpkin Patch

We had beautiful weather for the pumpkin patch last weekend … It actually felt like fall around here !  Which we love !   Nena came for a short visit to go to the pumpkin patch with us !  Glad you were able to get away from everything and come !  I know it was a quick turn around trip for you and we appreciate you doing it! We enjoyed having you here ….    Swinging with Daddy ….  Riding on the hayride …  playing in the dirt …

Daddy’s Special Day

On October 14 it was Todd’s 5th anniversary of the bombing … we choice to call this his “Celebration Of Life Day “ … so to celebrate we went out to eat at one of his favorite restaurants, Maggiano’s … we had a great afternoon together … and when we got home Mommy mad him dirt pudding, by his request … (thanks Noami for the recipe) and I want to say a special thank you to all the people that sent cards !  They mean so much to him !  It is such a important and simple way to show him we remember …  Also for the sweet messages !  thank y’all for remembering !  putting the funny face on the pumpkin :)  Ellie loves these … they are like Mr. Potato head pieces, but for pumpkins … she has already changed the pieces several times :)

Boots and Banty Visit

Boots and Banty came for a short visit …. we loved getting to spend a couple days with you !  We went to a local church pumpkin patch to help Boots pick out some really neat pumpkins !       It was really warm that day … Ellie was fading fast, as you can tell from this picture … Playing with Banty in her playroom …helping Boots open his birthday cards and gift, this was the scooby doo card that she had picked out for him, and she was so excited ….

Pumpkin Patch

We made our first trip to the pumpkin patch this season … and it’s sure not to be the last … We love the pumpkin patch and corn maize in Hondo … Some sweet friends met us there and we loved spending the day with them !         Tyler and Ellie playing with cars in the dirt … climbing on the hay … driving the tractor …   I love this picture …
