Things Ellie's Been Into This Week ...

Changing her Princess's diaper ... She is so funny when she does this ... I will hear her say ... "shoo-wee Princess"
Getting stuck in the dinning room chairs ... Can you tell she wasn't happy with Mommy because I went to get the camera ...

Drinking water out of the biggest water jug she can find ... Actually this is Daddy's water jug he takes with him to work ... but Ellie loves it ...

Thanks For Coming To Visit Lindsey !

Cousin Lindsey came to visit last weekend ... we really enjoyed getting to spend some time with her ... we don't get to see her enough these days ... Thanks for coming to visit Lindsey ! And a SPECIAL THANK YOU for baby sitting and letting Mommy and Daddy go on a date ... those are soooo very rare these days ... we don't have family or baby sitters here in San Antonio ... so we just take Ellie every where with us ... which of course we love ... but that kind of rules out a quite dinner and movie ... We really appreciate it Linz ... and I know how much fun Ellie had with you !

Potty Training ...

Okay ... if you can't read this look ... this was her way of saying ... Mom... I was in the middle of playing with my babies ... why are you making me sit on this potty thing again ...

Well ... I know many of you other blogger Mommy's out there have already done the potty training thing ... but we just started ... I had always heard ... start at 2 ... so we did ... But I will say that Ellie doesn't want to be bothered with it ... she would much rather play ... Right now she is wearing pull ups and we are setting the timer to go back and forth to the potty ... and of course there is the reward of M&Ms or smarties ... So if any of you have any potty training techniques that you are willing to share ... I would love to hear them !

Well ... We went out to dinner with some friends and Mommy thought she looked so cute ... and all I wanted was a quick picture ... but she was clearly not in the mood ...

During dinner Ellie went under the table and took off everybody shoes ... I'm not sure where that came from ?? She had never done that before ...

Getting Ready For Daddy's Birthday ...

I didn't do much blogging last week ... Ellie had a really nasty virus ... She had to go to the doctor 3 times in one week ... she had 102.8 fever, nausea and vomiting ... they even had to do chest x-rays to rule out pneumonia ... she had Mommy and Daddy worried about her ... she just wanted to lay in Mommy's lap and "rocky" ... so we did ...

But things are all better now ... she is back to herself ... Todd and I knew she was better when she started running from place to place ... this child doesn't like to walk anywhere ...

I have been letting Ellie sign/color her signature on every body's bday cards ...

O ... and don't ya just love the upside down shades .. too cool ...

woo hoo ... this one is a music card ... gotta stop and dance ... :)

She LOVES to help me bake ... here she is helping me make daddy's homemade banana pudding for his birthday party ...

and to be honest ... Mommy enjoys her help just as much as she enjoys helping ! Fun times ...
