We went on a weekend trip … our first stop was Belton … Ellie and Cousin Owen enjoyed playing on the bikes outside …

Owen is such a good helper with Ellie … he is going to be such a good big brother …

 

We went out to eat at Texas Road House … kind of a late celebration for PawPaw’s bday …

Gymnastics Show Day …

  At the end of the gymnastics class semester, they have a show day…. this is when family can come watch ….  Ellie was so excited that Daddy came to watch !  At the end of the class they receive their medal … she was so proud of it !  She wore it around all day ! Ellie loves her teacher … Mrs Renee …. we signed her up for Mrs Renee’s class again this semester …

Ellie made lots of improvements in her gymnastics class this year … she has gotten a lot stronger on the bars, goes solo on the balance beam, loves to do “donkey kicks”  and “monkey jumps” and most important…. she doesn’t need Mommy in there to do it anymore !  We are so proud of her …..

Last Saturday …

Daddy and Ellie got to go on their first movie date … She is making a funny face in this picture … but I promise she was excited !  They went to see “The Princess and The Frog” …. She had a wonderful time !  She talked about it for hours … and that night when she said her prayers she was thankful for Daddy and popcorn …..  Ellie got to go to her friend Abby’s birthday party … Happy Birthday Abby !  And thank you for inviting us to a fun party !

We just had a relaxing family day for Daddy Birthday …. we let him sleep in and made him breakfast in bed …. Ellie was sooo excited about the balloon candles she picked out … Happy Birthday Daddy !  We love you so much !!!

Terese’s Wedding

 

JP, Jim, Terese and Todd … For those of you who don’t know who Terese is, she was injured with Todd in Iraq, along with Jim.  JP was also in Iraq with them, but was not injured in the bombing.  It’s been years since they have all been together again … it was great seeing them !  And we are so happy for Terese and David !Ellie loved that Dullard, Terese’s dog, was in the wedding …Ellie really enjoyed the dance floor ….

Another weekend when the boys were hunting ..(actually New Years … that tells you how behind I am on blogging) Ellie and I went to stay with Banty and we took some good friends with us .. Tyler and his Mommy ….Ellie and Tyler play really good together ….   Feeding the horses …

The Best Of Friends ….

After the Christmas holiday Cousin Emmy came and stayed with us so the girls could have to some good “girl time” …. and they certainly did !   Ellie LOVED have her “Memie” here with and is still missing her ….    A Fancy Nancy Party ….Going out to dinner … Matching pajamas …. Gymnastics Camp !      For Christmas Ellie got an easy back oven (from Nena and PawPaw) and the girls really enjoyed making cakes ….
